The company has an interest in approximately 17,000 net and contiguous acres in the Greater Jade Prospect Area, where wells are being spaced on 160 and 80 acre spacing. In the West Dimaggio Prospect, it had leasehold interests in approximately 5,480 gross acres (4,250 net acres).
Rifle Creek, Garfield County, Colorado
The company owns certain interests, and the right to acquire further interests, in oil and gas leases and related assets located in the Rifle Creek area of the Piceance Basin, Garfield County, Colorado, USA (the Rifle Creek Project). Its interest in the Rifle Creek Project consists of a WI in approximately 3800 net mineral acres. This project was jointly owned by the company (75%) and Dolphin Energy Corporation (Dolphin) (25%) of Denver Colorado.
Dispositions
In 2008, the company entered into a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Patriot Petroleum Corp. (Patriot), whereby it sold all of its interest in the Garrington Project, comprising of certain petroleum and natural gas leases located in the Garrington Area of Alberta.

The company was founded in 1987. It was formerly known as Exxel Energy Corp. and changed its name to XXL Energy Corp. in 2008.
