The General Insurance segment provides various motor, home and commercial products and services for individuals, as well as small and large businesses. This segment is managed based on market-facing businesses, including Global Corporate; North America Commercial; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; Latin America; and the Asia-Pacific.
The Global Life segment provides unit-linked, protection and corporate propositions through global distribution and proposition pillars. This segment is managed on a regional-based structure within a framework, including North America; Latin America; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and the Asia-Pacific.
The Farmers segment, through Farmers Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries (FGI), provides certain non-claims administrative and management services to the Farmers Exchanges. This segment also includes all reinsurance assumed from the Farmers Exchanges by the Group. Farmers Exchanges are prominent writers of personal and small commercial lines of business in the U.S.
The Non-Core Businesses segment includes insurance and reinsurance businesses that are managed to achieve a beneficial run-off. In addition, Non-Core Businesses includes the company’s management of property loans and banking activities. Non-core businesses are mainly situated in the U.S., Bermuda, the U.K. and Ireland.
Products
The company also offers general liability, travel, fine art or luxury vehicles, accident and health, aviation, credit card cover and personal insurance; life and critical illness cover, life assurance, investment and protection products, and pensions and retirement planning products.
In addition, the company provides insurance for business, including property, casualty, financial institutions, management or professional liability, trade credit, political risk, marine, automotive, and cyber risk products; and Zurich international programs, risk engineering, claims and captive services.
Further, the company offers insurance for employees, such as Zurich international group risk solutions, Zurich international programs for employees, international corporate investment plan, multi-employer savings plan, international pension plan, captive services and pooling solutions.
